Thymosin Alpha-1, also known as thymalfasin, is a 28-amino-acid peptide corresponding to a naturally occurring immune-regulatory peptide. It has been investigated for its effects on innate and adaptive immune signalling, particularly the activity of dendritic cells, T cells and other immune-response pathways.

How It Works

Laboratory studies have found that it can influence dendritic-cell maturation and signalling, support antigen presentation and alter the production of immune-signalling molecules. Dendritic cells help coordinate communication between the innate and adaptive immune systems.
